The last couple times I have been there I have been poorly treated by the staff in the kitchen. I ordered one breakfast burrito and a cup of beans yesterday morning, no one was in line or waiting for their order. A Hispanic gentleman came in after me and ordered and the kitchen gave him his order first and he had two completely full bags of prepared food.    Read moreThis market is both a carneceria and taco shop in one. Authentic food. Great carne asada from the market side and great pan dulce. The food from the taco shop side is fantastic. They have family packs for parties or catering which come with meat, sides, tortillas, salsa and all the trimmings. The carnitas and carne are both good. Seriously- I used to buy and make everything from scratch, but now it's more convenient just to buy it and enjoy spending time with people rather than slaving in the kitchen. Staff is very friendly and the establishment super clean. Definitely give this locally owned business your support and try them out, you wont be disappointed at the taco shop...
Read moremeat seasoning at the butcher area is off the hook.... Hence the name "asaderos" meaning....somewhat along the lines as "grillers". The cornish season hens aka godornices are yummy... slowly cooked on a Weber grill with misquite charcoal. The adobada/al-pastor is another hit...on a cast iron griddle as tacos, with some freshly made guacamole. Only thing would be that they hardly if ever have specials on their meats. Prices are ok, i stay away from the expensive cuts....i get those on sale at their competition. See a lot of people that normally dont visit Mexican store markets....there, its a recipe for MORE success...with the need of a few minor tweeks....
