Let me say if I could give zero Stars I would I went here yesterday after leaving my brother's house they have the worst sandwiches I have ever tasted first let's talk about the bread it's super thick dry and grainy now let's talk about the meat you know those packages of meat that you can buy at the grocery store for like $0.49 and when you try to pull it apart it tears because it's so thin it's like paper that's how I describe their meat their sauce this Italian sauce that they call putting on this Italian sandwich it's bitter and it leaves a really bad after taste in your mouth the lettuce is shredded it and it appears to be wilted already the pepperoni meat has a bad aftertaste it was the worst sandwich I had ever bought now mind you I bought two Italian sandwiches with no extra toppings I paid for a medium and it cost me $19.11 but I did have a large drink and one small bag of chips you know the chips that you buy at the store that cost $0.35 or 3 for $0.99 that's how small the bag was and they sell it for a dollar fifty if I had a choice I would stick with Subway or Jersey Mike's but let me say that I have not tried Jersey Mike's yet if I didn't have to drive over a hundred miles to get home I would have turned around took the food back and asked for my money back Firehouse Subs is the worst place you could ever think to spend your money for a sandwich you would be better off going to Walmart buying a loaf of bread some salami and throw it together yourself it's terrible and I plan on calling corporate and letting them know just how bad their sandwiches were now this is the only Firehouse Subs that I have tried and it's located in Yucca Valley maybe the other ones are good I'm not sure but in my opinion and you know first impression is everything this food is beyond...
Read moreI almost never post a review of anything, but my experience today with this Firehouse Sub was so awful I felt I had to warn others. I was in the front of the line when I ordered three standard sandwiches. It took 26 minutes before I was walking out the door!
Upon returning to my home, it was clear these sandwiches were made incorrectly during those 26 minutes of what I thought were painstaking efforts to make the world's greatest sandwiches.
I now feel as if I must have been part of the taping of a Candid Camera television show. I ordered two identical sandwiches, which were simply tuna with lettuce and green pepper. Note they were ordered identically. I attached a picture of the receipt here along with pictures of one of the sandwiches. How difficult is it to get a tuna sandwich right? In addition to failing to get the toppings correctly, the tuna salad itself is a complete disaster made with way too much mayonnaise. It would be better suited for caulking windows.
To top things off when I went to enjoy one of the so-called pickles, this is what it looked like in the photo below. I recognize everyone has a bad day. But come on, all these were, were tuna salad sandwiches!
They took longer than the two entrees my wife and I enjoyed at a fine dining establishment last night in Palm Springs. And these sandwiches were simply terrible while the "pickle" was the finishing touch to the insult this entire experience was.
However, since we all want to always look for a silver lining, I'm thinking that after drying this thing out (which clearly won't take long,) the pickle will serve as a halfway...
Read moreI recently visited Firehouse Subs, and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home as soon as I walked in.
The subs were absolutely delicious—loaded with fresh, high-quality ingredients and perfectly toasted bread. I tried the Hook & Ladder, and it was packed with flavor. The balance of smoked turkey, honey ham, and melted Monterey Jack cheese was spot on, and the portion size was generous.
What really stood out to me was the attention to detail. They customize your order just the way you like it, and the variety of hot sauces available is a nice touch. It’s also great to know they support local first responders through their Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, which makes every visit feel meaningful.
The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a welcoming vibe. Overall, Firehouse Subs is a cut above the rest when it comes to sub shops. I’ll...
