Earl's Rib Palace — Restaurant in Yukon

I wish I could give the food a good review, but after what I ate I just can't do that. My family and I ate there last Tuesday, May 10th. There was one employee who seemed like she was having an off day, but other than that service was good. The atmosphere was nice and clean. The food was bland and dry. I had the ribs and they were so dry and tasteless I just could not finish them. My sides were mac and cheese and corn on the cobb. The mac and cheese had little sprinkles of cheese on it and was mostly tasteless. The corn may have been overdone as well. There was just something off about it that I cannot explain. The original potato salad looked strange and it did not get finished by my mother. It eventually was tossed out. The baked beans also did not taste good. The barbeque sauce was so runny. I poured some on my ribs hoping they would taste better later after I got home, but afterwards, the sauce just became so thinned out it was like water! We were definitely disappointed in the meal. Edit: Not sure how to respond to owner. However, we ordered and live in El Reno. Picked up as we usually do in Okc locations and ate at home. I called to inform location and ama nice fellow answered (who seemed very busy)and said he was sorry...Awkward pause and he said have a nice day. Original: Idk what deal was. Ordered today at 6pm and food was extremely bland. The bologna and ribs literally had no flavor. My wife got big earl sandwich and aside from the jalapeño sausage it was so bland could not tell we were eating BBQ pork.. The mac and cheese was very bland. The beans were like a bbq soup with brisket fat, which was surprising bc at other Earl locations they are my FAV! My 2 little boys wouldn't eat their mac and its their favorite thing in world. The Earlapinos were bad as well. Somehow it was as if bacon was uncooked, yet the cheese was missing. I dont think cheese was cooked out so possibly never added. The only good thing was the scallion and bread with meal. 60$ for 2 kids meals which were probably 300 calories. A bland sandwich with soupy beans, and bologna/ribs that tasted...

To go order. We ordered two sandwiches, one with a hot link on it and one with brisket and polish sausage. We had baked beans on one side and the curly fries as another side. The meat was bland and did not taste as though it was smoked. The baked beans were really dark and obviously scorched, and curly fries were soggy and did not appear to be freshly cooked. I've eaten at this location multiple times over the years, and the food was a lot better. I worked at Earl's Palace years ago in Nichols Hills with an actual chef! And a good rule of thumb is to taste the food that you're serving to make sure it's still good. And if you won't eat it don't serve it...
