👍👍Highly reccommend this Tex-Mex (Texas style Mexican cuisine) 🌯🌮🫔version quaint family owned local restaurant experience. Located conveniently off to the side along a frontage street to the famous Rt.66 in Yukon, where remnants of the routes heyday still yet linger including old motels and shops in the nearby older portion of Main Street. The meals are generously portioned & served hot by dedicated staff who establish a high standard dining experience. Management (Sasha) is heavily involved and attentive at establishing a higher than typical standard. Waitstaff are very attentive and accommodating in a friendly and professional manner. Waitstaff not assigned to tables ensure frequent follow-up with further accommodations and refills, including solicitation of to-go refills. The teamwork and investment of around seven staff was positively impressive and resulted in a superior experience. I observed Waitstaff lightheartedly fist-bumping children and generally acting to improve and ensure a pleasurable experience by all. There's a nice outdoor dining area. Parking may be a challenge during busy times, but there's options nearby. The environment is casual. The decor is festive with traditional South American lively colors and decorations. The establishmentbis clean, tidy and accommodating to various group sizes depending on volume. Outstanding Waitstaff with a teamwork approach to ensuring terrific experience. Priced competitively and reasonably. The giant steak burrito represents its name well. If the salsa isn't hot enough, they will light you up with a habanero version that definitely adds warmth. 🌶👌Overall the Bird 🐦🛖House Mexican Restaurant in Yukon represents the Tex-Mex dining experience well and provides a better option, with later hours 🕘 of operation than most...

Read moreMy wife and I have been to several Mexican restaurants in the Yukon/Mustang area, but Casa Perico is definitely the best. When going to a new restaurant, I typically start out with giving the place a mental 10. As dinner progresses I start deducting points for things I find unacceptable. By the end of dinner I was still at a 10. The service was outstanding. For example, when our chips and salsa got low, our server replaced them without us having to ask. Our server was very friendly, always had a smile and made sure we were happy with our food. Speaking of food, I order the beef chimichanga and requested that it be extra crispy. Of all the Mexican restaurants that we have tried it has NEVER come out crispy. Ah, but not this time, it was actually perfect. My wife ordered the Chicken Monterry with rice and Ranchero beans. Her dinner was also perfect. Portion sizes were just right. We also found the prices to be very competitive with the other Mexican restaurants Casa Perico has moved up to our go to place for Mexican food. Now after all is said and done, I finally came up with a one point deduction. While the chimichanga was perfect as is, I would like to see steak strips as another option to the chicken and shredded beef. The atmosphere was kind of blah. Perhaps some very soft Mexican background music will help. At this point, that's about all the demerits I could come up with. However, neither of those two issues took anything away from a very pleasant dining experience. Final score...
