Arizona Donuts — Restaurant in Yuma

Several of my friends advised that I should check out Arizona Donuts while visiting Yuma. When traveling, I'm always in search of a good donut.

Saturday morning at 3:33 a.m. and I was at Arizona Donuts on South Avenue B. In search of donuts, Yolanda was my server.

One dozen donuts (at $9.95) and a large coffee (at $1.99) - plus an unnoticed "bankcard" fee of .45 - along with tax (at $1.30), I was out the door at $13.69.

Coffee was a disappointment. Not only was it ice cold, but the only milk and/or creamer available was of the powdered variety. When I complained about the cold coffee, Yolanda poured a new cup from a different pot. I drank the new cup "black" as I don't particularly care for powdered creamer.

The donuts? They seemed stale. Not sure why as at 3:30 in the morning they should be fresh. I ate two while at the donut shop, shared another two with a homeless guy sitting in the back, and gave the rest away at the Yuma Turkey Trot a few hours later.

My biggest complaint? I used my Venmo debit card to complete the purchase and was charged a .45 bankcard fee without notice. Yolanda never mentioned the added fee and from what I remember of the service area, I didnt see a written notice of such a charge. Had I been noticed, I would have paid cash for my order.

Arizona Donuts was a disappointment. I won't visit again.

To that Red-Haired girl serving 9:50pm 4/4/2024. I have never felt like a burden in a business like today. I felt like my kids would enjoy donuts but I left this place feeling second thoughts based on the customer service and her temper and face just ordering donuts. Besides waiting for her to come out for a bit she started serving with some kind of attitude like if the donuts are free or she’s paying for these things herself. If you are paying for them, please give my my money back because I felt like I was making a mistake or bothering you by ordering. Horrible costumers service i will not be going back ever. The older lady with very short hair that takes your order is rude when you take time to choose the donuts you want and if you ask to get mexican bread she gets annoyed and makes faces. If you ask if there are anymore donuts of a certain flavor she gives you attitude because she has to go to the back and get them. I understand you get busy but i am a paying customer and deserve the time to choose what i would like to get. Also when i add food to my order it sits in the window for a while before they give you the food and i can see her talking and laughing to the other young girl with red hair in the back.
