Asian Gourmet — Restaurant in Yuma

ROACHES IN AND AROUND FOOD. RESTAURANT INSPECTION NEEDED. We went there today for the 1st time and the food was pretty good and we were enjoying ourselves until we got a 3rd guest visit our table. A giant roach! It was fast tracking on our table near our plates so much so we had to move tables. It went all cross table and waitress had to come kill it. After that I did not eat another bite,... the waitress did apologize but no one came over to say anything and acted like that big scene never happened. My husband who saw I was ready to leave and no longer happy with the meal and asked the waitress if there was anything they could do. She didn't want to do anything, didn't offer a desert or anything. She then said she could take off 10%. We are military, could eat at any restaurant without roaches and get 10%. I had only a couple bites of my meal and was still disgusted by the bug racing across our table said no, I'd like my meal taken off because I was no way going to eat it. She removed it. My husband ate his and paid for his, but we will not go there again. If roaches are that bold to come to the table and eat with you then I am sure they are in the back and in the kitchen! For all we know the roach could have come off the plate how fast it was running around. Food and restaurant inspector needs to come out and make a surprise visit! Do not go here unless you like roaches...

I'm Debis husband. We've been eating Mexican in Yuma for the past month because our town in Oregon hasn't any good Mexican restaurants. We also don't have any good Chinese restaurants so we wanted to try one in Yuma before we leave next week. Reviews for Asian Gourmet was good so tried it. The really nice waitress suggested #78House Low Mein and it was fantastic and at the price of $11.95. The food was hot and steaming when she brought it out and all the meat in it was tender and tasty. Wish we would of discovered this place a month ago. Been living in Yuma for over 10 years and I never tried this Asian restaurant before. I was excited to try a new place out and went by the reviews on Google to finally try it out. I ordered two vegetarian tofu dishes from this place and omg they stunk so bad! It smelled rotten or expired. Something was off with both dishes. Paid $30+ dollars. Not sure if it had to do with it being “vegetarian”. But I don’t recommend this place! They shouldn’t be serving old food like that.
