Bubba's 33 — Restaurant in Yuma

Food was delicious. The waitress was very attentive and provided great service. My only issue with this place is the front of house staff. The hostess outside took our names for the wait list and said it would be a 15-20 min wait. Came to check status at 25 min and she said it went up to 15 more min of wait time. I told her what time I put myself on the wait list and she had a later time on her system when my phone received the wait list text message earlier than what she claimed. We decided to wait and we got the text our table was ready. We walk in, all the hostesses at the front were super unorganized and sat people that got here after us before us and continued to ignore us until we got a manager. We thought we would give this new restaurant a try. We were seated right away, but it took well over 5 minutes for our server to acknowledge us. After that, service was good. My husband ordered the Philly steak sandwich. He stated that it was way too salty and let our server and a manager know. I ordered the the Big Salad. It was not overly thrilling and although it seemed to taste fine, I ended up with some level of food illness that night and was sick all night. Had the Fish & Chips — they were okay. The first order came out a bit soggy, but the manager quickly took care of it, re-fired the dish, and even refunded the order. The second plate was somewhat better; the fish had good flavor, though the batter wasn’t as crisp as I’m used to.

Dessert was a highlight — the brownie was really good.

The bar was loud, but I actually liked the energy. The game was on, and everyone was into it, which made for a fun atmosphere.
