Bubba's Restaurant — Restaurant in Yuma

Stopped in to grab breakfast with my oldest before school. This is going to sound weird but I swear it smells like 1978 in there! The decor and set up was a hard core flash back to the days of the hometown diner and for this reason alone - go check it out. I mean everything down to the coffee cups was a time warp! The food was - mostly ok. My eggs were perfect, bacon was thin but crispy, biscuits and gravy were not good at all. My daughter ordered the breakfast burrito which was the best thing on the table, but her beans came from a can and weren't completely warmed up and her potatoes were just undercooked - disappointing. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO IN THE HOT SUMMERS OF YUMA!!! What better way to cool off than to have ice cold coffee, ice cold eggs, ice cold biscuits and gravy and servers who don't bother you, even if you need something, they keep their distance! If you want an awesome hot breakfast, make sure you bring your microwave to heat up your food. But honestly, it would be cheaper to just go to the frozen food section at Fry's and cook at home. That way you don't get charged $20+ for food that is cold. I WILL NOT be returning. I would highly recommend...

My family has been going to Bubba's for years. But since it was sold in my opinion the quality seems to be lacking. The food is still good. However, the atmosphere was light and inviting before. Now it is cold and unwelcoming. The wait staff is not as friendly no one smiles and everyone just seems to just go through the motions. On top of all of that as soon as you walk in the door the first thing that hit you in the face was sewer smell. Afraid my family will have to find me...
