Won't let you redeem your pawn ticket before experation, what? Called City Police who were informed that it was their 'store policy'. No 'policy' is posted stating such Anywhere or on pawn ticket. Police advised it's a civil matter that they can't assist. So, Corporate office was called and stated that a letter would be mailed that my friend would be able to retrieve her item. This is a person wh cannot drive, lives approximately 20 miles away and has made 3 trips, still leaving empty handed. All I can say is Beware, I warned you 😨 Once again went back to try to redeem ticket Still no luck, BUT there's a clearance table set up right in front of the entrance so while they're dealing with that I find a small air compressor had been marked down to $88 then to $25 SCORE!! I purchased an edger there the first time I shopped there. Then I went to Sears and found another one for cheaper and brand new. (Same day). So I took it back with my receipt and explained what I found and they were very good and gave my money back. I'm not sure if all sales are final but I really appreciated that they did that because most places will tell you to kick rocks. After that I have had to pawn an item or 2 and they always give me a fair price. This is a pawn shop. They don't take every single thing you have even if you did pay a lot for it. If they can't sell it they don't want it. Its business. And for the record most pawn shops have rude workers. It goes with the territory. But at USA pawn I've never had them be outright rude. Yesterday, I dropped by USA Pawn with a few items I had hoped might be worth something. (This was only the second time I'd ever been in the store.) The gentleman who assisted me, Mario, was absolutely phenomenal. Personable, patient, very knowledgeable, and extremely kind. This young man went above and beyond in helping me, and I was more than comfortable putting my trust in him. In addition to offering me more than what I had expected, he took the time to educate me in how USA Pawn works--how they determine the value of items, how to know if something is real or fake, and how the store sets their repayment plans.
