Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Yuma

Today my husband went to this Dairy Queen location in avenue B. Let me tell you the young girl that sold ice cream to my husband was beyond disrespectful and rude to my husband and my son later after wards. My husband had asked her for a banana split, instead the girl gave him a blizzard when not once my husband said he wanted a blizzard, he had clearly asked her for a banana split. After he told her that she had got his order incorrect she refuse to make the right order and refuse to give him a refund back. My husband was nothing but polite and was asking to please refund his money back if she was not going to correct the order. She refuse by calling him mean names and pretending to be the manager of the store when clearly she was not. I can’t believe whoever owns this Dairy Queen hires people like her who have no manners or people skills towards customers. She was just so disrespectful and nasty with her attitude. I report it this incident to my bank and to the main corporate office of Dairy Queen, they took my information and offer an apology and that someone from that office will get of hold of me. I seriously will not recommend this location of Dairy Queen to anyone because how badly this people are with customers specially this wannabe manager who has no people skills treating people with so much disrespect. I don’t recommend this Dairy Queen to anyone, if you really want ice cream go to a local vendor or McDonald’s...

I remember working here a few years back for my first job and if it is still run by the same owner who owns that one Mexican restaurant next door, I'd advise you to stay far away from this place. It taught me how to survive in a toxic working environment. When I worked there, there were roaches living everywhere and their main nest was in the ice cream machine and yes, they climb all over and into the blizzard ingredients. The owner was a theif who stole phones, chargers and portable speakers and was a all around old hag. Also! The owners son was creepy and lingered too much around the girls of the place. The other staff members I worked with were amazing though, I hope the owner knows how many times we had to lie about stuff to actually save her sorry butt from angry customers.

I can't believe How rude the staff was I ordered a blizzard and specifically told the girl That I wanted chocolate ice cream on it, when I saw the guy doing it with vanilla I tried to get his attention but kept ignoring me, he was right next to the window so I know he heard me. Anyway she refuse to do me the one I wanted because she said she didn't hear me said that.I didn't want to argue so I just took it, but the customer is always right and they should pay more attention to the customers order next time.
