They say, "Service is King," and they would be right; I am a Food Safety Instructor/Proctor, therefore, I go to numerous restaurant to certify chefs, cooks, owners, etc. and I always get a first hand look at the cleanliness, as well as the service provided by the staff and management of the establishment.
On Friday, May 11, 2018, I along with 19 students and 2 teachers was waited upon by Ms. Dionne Posey and two of her most trusted team members; unfortunately, their names escape me at this time but they were very patience, kind, and they communicated well with the students, which is not always easy to do; especially with Middle School Kids.
Ms. Posey, took special care and attention to ensure that our visit was memorable; she along with her team members made us aware of all the specials, as well as informed us of the Chili's Club/membership that actually gives you a free appetizer, which went over well with everyone.
As a part of the Management Team, Ms. Posey truly exemplify leadership in every way by modeling the behavior she expected from her co-workers/team members.
This was my 3rd or 4th time eating at this particular Chili's, because the group that I mentioned earlier comes to this area every year from Shreveport, LA as a part of the year ending activities for the 7th and 8th grade classes of Donnie Bickmon Middle School here in Shreveport, LA a part of Caddo Parish School System; but without a doubt it was my best experience regarding the service being render by its staff or management.
In fact, I had never even met one of the manager prior to this visit; therefore, in closing, I certainly would recommend going to this location if you are ever in Zachary, LA. Don't forget to ask for Ms. Dionne Posey who is a part of the Management Team and she will certainly make sure you are well cared for. #store1059...
Read moreIf I could leave zero stars I would. Putting a Chili’s in Zachary was the worst decision. This establishment has been understaffed for months, and most of the staff they do have are incompetent and plain rude. The hostess made us wait several minutes to be seated and had a line form out of the door to clean tables, even though there were plenty of available tables. On top of that, the table next to us had their child trying to climb over into our booth, so I knew the experience was going to be bad from the start. Even worse, this same inconsiderate table literally interrupted us while we were in the middle of ordering our drinks to ask for avocado ranch. Then, I waited almost 20 minutes for a nasty, watered down, 12 DOLLAR espresso martini that was subpar at best. I was at my wits end when we ordered our triple dipper well before our entrees, and of course, our entrees arrived before our appetizer. When the appetizer did finally arrive, it was lukewarm at best. Our server never checked on us, even though it was not even busy for a Friday night. As a server of several years, I can confidently say I could have served circles around that restaurant. Chili’s needs to do better because this establishment was a joke. There were “influencers” that drove up in the parking lot with a tripod to make content in a parking spot, blocking people from being able to park. My favorite part was them filming their content and then proceeding to not even dine in and instead just leave, which is honestly what I believe I...
Read moreTL,DR; Wait staff were fantastic, fried chicken was inedible.
Ordered the chicken crispers like I always do at chili’s. The first batch I received was really tough and rubbery, as if it were under done. Normally with other types of food I wouldn’t be picky about that, but chicken is not something I will eat under cooked. I asked for another batch to be cooked, no problem. I received the second batch and half of the chicken was fine and tasted great, but the other half was so tough and rubbery I literally could not cut it with a knife. The chicken had the right color and texture, it was just that it was so tough there was no way I could eat it. Either way, at that point my party was finished eating (only issues we had were with the chicken) and we decided to just ask for the chicken meal to be comped. Management and wait staff were very understanding, and even asked if I wanted something else done up quick. Seeing as we were ready to leave, I declined.
Feel bad for the staff here because it was most likely just bad product (and no fault of the cooks and certainly no fault of the wait staff) and they have to deal with the unhappy customers that result from that. According to my party, the burgers were great and the appetizers were also on par. Just don’t order...
