I stopped eating here for about a year after being a Loyal customer. I just ordered sesame chicken one with lo mein and the other with shrimp fried rice, both orders I requested that the sesame chicken be fried soft because I have digestive problems so I can't have anything fried too hard. After placing the order I asked the guy again to please be sure my chicken on both orders was fried soft. He assured me that it would be. It was not. I will never eat here again. This is why I stopped eating here in the first place. I thought they had gotten better but obviously not. I had shrimp fried rice with 2 shrimp in it. They could've at least given me five because they sure chargedme for it. That's what I get for not driving to Baton Rouge where I know they listen to what the customers want. My daughters sesame chicken was salty as she got down to the bottom. Last time I ate here they sprinked sugar on the sesame chicken because they put the wrong sauce on...

To be fair, my reason for only 2 stars was that I ate the buffet at around 2pm after the lunch rush ended and thus the food had probably been sitting out for a while. The price of $7.95 (plus tax) is reasonable for the buffet since it includes a drink and you can try different items.

At a later time, I tried the General Tao's Chicken lunch plate at $5.95 and the portions were small compared to other Chinese restaurants. It was not impressive and for what you get, the buffet (if fresh) is the better option.

We have gotten take out from this place quite a few times. It’s always been very good & prompt service. Yesterday, service was good. But, I ordered chicken lo mein. It had plenty of noodles, carrots, & onions, but it only had 3 very small pieces of chicken & I had to hunt for them! Maybe they were having an off day, who knows?
