McDonald's — Restaurant in Zebulon

Edit: 1/1/2025 - Decided to try this McDonalds again after not trying for a while. Should have known, same McDonalds same crappy experience. The owners should be absolutely ashamed of what their business has become. What an utter disgrace.

Edit: 7/29/2021 - was asked to pull up to wait for my food. I politely said No giving them my reasoning (see below) and they got frustrated that I would not pull up. Threw my sauces in the bag and handed me my bag. Sauce all over the bag and not the correct sauce either. Do yourselves a favor and stop going here. Maybe one day they will get it right or go out of business. PATHETIC!

Edit: 6/08/2021 - Not even one week later the same exact thing happened as the last time. The only difference is I went in this time. They seem to not have my order even though I'm standing there for 15 minutes with ticket in hand. Maybe don't delete orders off the screen and pay attention to what you are doing. Up until and even after the order is completed. This place is a joke.

Edit: 06/02/2021 -1 star - sat in the "pull up we will bring your order out" spot for 20 minutes. Walked inside and didn't receive any help. I guess forgetting people's orders is a new thing at this McDonalds.... Get it together for goodness sake..

Every time I go to this McDonalds it's always a 20 minute drive thru line just to get to the order screen. When you finally get up to the window they ask you to pull forward to wait another 10 minutes for something they should have had made in the beginning. This McDonalds needs to take a note of how chick fil a does "fast food". Food was good. Wait was pathetic "try harder for your 15$ an hour"

Update: 5/12/24 Honestly not sure if it is understaffed or if it's a management/ownership issue. Seems every single time I got to this McDonald's something is messed up. Ordered a BEC Mcgriddle which is clearly listed on the receipt and as well as the bag, but low and behold it's a sausage, who would've thought?!? Not surprising. Please. For the love of God. Get it...

I was traveling home with my granddaughters after a long day in Raleigh. After asking where they wanted to eat they both quickly yelled McDonald's!!! I stopped at the first location I found and as I pulled up I noticed that there was a ton of construction work going on so I decided to skip the drive thru and go inside....and was pleasantly surprised. The lobby was clean.....the bathrooms were as well. I ordered three different combos with each having a special request....such as extra pickles just ketchup etc. The young lady that took my order listened...paid attention and repeated my order back to me...all with a smile. After receiving my food and handed it out I was again pleasantly surprised that everything was just like I had ordered and everything has hot! The taste of the food was also surprisingly good.....each granddaughter said they loved it. I definitely recommend this McDonald's and will stop by again if I'm i near that location again. Where I live the local McDonald's is a complete joke....wrong orders...long waits...bad service...employees checking their phones while they take your order....and last but not least....discovering that an employee has taken bites of your food when you get home. ( that last part happened to a friend ) This is the reason for the long review. I went in expecting so so service but saw that you can still go to a McDonald's and enjoy...

I filled out an application to work at this location part-time. Looking at all of the reviews, I figured they needed help and extra money is always good to have. I was denied employment and told that I would not even be considered because I work a full time job somewhere else. Mind you, they are hiring for PART TIME. I offered more than enough availability, especially on the weekends that would equal to a full time position. The only reason I give this location one star is so that I can leave this review. It is pretty disheartening for a manager to tell you BEFORE you get to the interview process or even see her face to face that you will not be hired because of this. She let me know that she would not even let her recruiter further the process if anyone indicates they have a full time job. It's McDonald's! Clearly they are traumatized by former employees and are afraid of dedication and commitment. Everyone doesn't have bad work ethic. Take note of the date of this review and read all reviews after and see if their service and professionalism gets better. I doubt it will. SMH.......If you plan on applying for part time work here and you really need the money and you work another job, do not tell them that or you will be eliminated immediately per the...
