La Pasiva — Restaurant in Montevideo

We stopped at La Pasiva for breakfast and had a great experience. The sandwiches were really good—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The cappuccino was also spot on, rich and smooth, just the way I like it. It was a simple breakfast, but everything hit the spot. Definitely a solid place to start excesivo. Best place to go!!! Has everything you need, I recommend a hot dog cause it's their specialty, it's not a regular one it's like a classy hot dog, great view and is in the nicest neighborhood of Montevideo. I totally recommend it, great service also and Tourist friendly place. A friend we met in Montevideo who lives in the area recommended us this as a place for great uruguayan fast food, and it did not disappoint. We both had a chivito with fries - my girlfriend a vegetarian one, I a canadiense - and it tasted great. Also, the staff was really friendly and the location nice. Pricewise, it is not the cheapest restaurant you can find (eg. in the city center), but definitely affordable....
