Anchor Beer Club — Restaurant in Đà Nẵng

Decent, imported, beers, good selection, acceptable pricing.

Food selection is questionable, what I want to eat a steak here? Probably not. But I’ll try it on a future visit. Just to take a bullet for you, the reader.

Happy that they served me chips and tartar sauce, which complements the beer very well, ordered pickles on the side, They worked even though the presentation was on par with what I would expect grade school students to do.

Location, for me is good, signage is poor.

Service is fairly attentive, the staff came when I called them but I wasn’t proactively being given options when my glass was almost empty (-1 point.)

Not an easy job for the staff, they deal with a fairly entitled affluent crowd who will get drunk and misbehave.

Overall, decent place, close to my home, decent drinks, and pricing that doesn’t really break the bank.

Would I come back? Quite likely.

If a new, better place (like a wine bar) was to pop up in the neighborhood, I wouldn’t.

I’m not a fan of drinking the locally available garbage beer from big Brand names that leave me bloated. So, this place works for me.

Great little pub with a large offering of imported craft beers. From IPA’s, wheat beers, ambers, and stouts they have something for everyone. The food was also good, we tried the roasted pork and the salmon sashimi. There was also live music the night we were there which definitely added to the ambience. The wait staff was great and very attentive, the moment I finished a beer they would arrive within seconds offering another. I would highly recommend this bar/pub to anyone who loves to try...

Good beer, but... The waiters are completely clueless.

The problem is that they are extremely intrusive - standing inches from you and staring intently while you flip through the menu. Worse yet, one of them seemed to have OCD and kept coming over to straighten / line up every item on our table, completely disrupting our conversation.

Don't go here expecting a minutes peace to enjoy your beer - just...
