A restaurant with Quảng styled food (Quảng Nam district just south of Da Nang). All in all it's worth a visit if you're into food and want to try local specific types of dishes.
I had the shrimp and pork meal, and it was good. The pieces of pork were really tasty. My lunch company had the frog version of the same dish, but otherwise identical in sauce/froth. Being mt first time hsving frog it appears to be similar to chicken but nothing weirder than that. The price of 69k felt a bit over the top.
The staff is neat and effective, and so is the kitchen. There was no waiting for the food. Although, we arrived when no one else did. If you arrive with other groups the wait will be longer. It's quite the busy place around lunch time.
The restaurant is not big can fit a lot of people. The seating and tables are pretty tight, but would only atter if every seat was taken. Even though it was filling up at noon, the noise level was not too loud and allowed for conversation. Air cons with lots of peope and doors moving put the air moving a lot at...
Read moreFood is above average, and price too. It's not very expensive, but comparing to the experience u might have here, it's not worth it. They have a small pot to keep the frog and broth, and a very big spoon that hardly u can get the broth, but still ok to try once. I was there at 5pm, not crowded, the staffs were sitting here and there everywhere in the restaurants, chatting, sorting the chopsticks very loudly, using phone, etc., with boring poker faces, which makes me feel uncomfortable and even tired just by looking at them. The staff said goodbye to me and put her hand on her heart, but her face has the expression of...
Read moreFrog fans, anyone? This restaurant has long been famous for its frog Mi Quang, making it an iconic spot for both locals and tourists visiting Danang. I stopped by after lunch, so it wasn't too busy, and the service was nice and quick.
The shrimp and pork Mi Quang had a pleasant flavor, though the pork was a bit fatty for my taste, and I prefer traditional braised shrimp over the fried version they served.
The frog, marinated with a strong turmeric flavor, was nicely salty and paired well with the noodles and veggies. However, the frog meat was a little overcooked, and I expected the noodles to have a better texture. I'll still be on the lookout for an even better bowl of frog Mi Quang...
