Exhausting and Disrespectful: Three Attempts, Three Excuses
I am writing to detail an incredibly frustrating experience my friends and I had today, which reflects severe operational issues at your establishment.
In our earnest attempt to dine with you, we made three separate trips:
3:30 PM: We arrived to find the restaurant closed for a staff lunch break and were told to return at 5:00 PM for opening. 5:00 PM: We returned promptly at the instructed time, only to be turned away again. This time, we were told the kitchen wasn't ready due to a private party preparation and to come back in 30 minutes. 5:30 PM: We made our third trip, at which point the server now asked us to return at 7:30 PM—a full two hours later.
By this point, we had zero confidence that returning at 7:30 PM would have resulted in a meal. Based on the pattern of ever-changing excuses, we fully expected to be met with a fourth reason why we couldn't be served.
This constant moving of the goalposts is unacceptable. We had planned our entire afternoon around this meal, and the complete lack of communication and forethought from your staff wasted not only our time but also the money spent on multiple Grab rides.
A simple sign posted earlier in the day, a note on your social media, or clear instruction during the first interaction could have prevented this entire ordeal. Instead, we were given the runaround until we simply gave up.
This wasn't just an inconvenience; it was a profound failure in customer service and basic hospitality. I cannot in good conscience recommend your...

This restaurant showed a shocking lack of respect for our time. We made three separate trips and were turned away every single time.
When we first arrived at 3:25 PM, we were told they were closed for a lunch break and would reopen at 5:00 PM. This was not listed on their Google hours but I can understand. We changed our plans and returned at 5:00 PM, but the employee said they were preparing for a party and to come back at 5:30 PM. To make sure there was no miscommunication, I spoke with them in Vietnamese since I’m fluent in both languages.
Believing them, we returned for a third time. At 5:30 PM, they changed the story yet again and told us to come back at 7:30 PM. Each trip also required a new Grab car ride.
This was more than an inconvenience, it was a series of broken promises and a complete disregard for our time and money. No apology was given. We never even got to try the food and will not be coming back.
