One of the best coffee shops in Da Nang.

1. Drinks - Excellent. I had the Avocado and Coconut Coffee. Both were great and I'm comparing to about 20 places in Da Nang. The Avocado coffee is also unique to this place.

2. Value - Excellent. Below average price for coffee making this place an excellent value. Also lots of food items which are relatively cheap too though I have not tried them yet.

3. Ambience - Nice wide tables and stools. Very gentle and quiet music too unlike many places that blare the music. Nothing but windows on 2 sides of the cafe to create a sense of spaciousness. Great place to do work.

4. WiFi - Stable the whole time I was here (several hours) for browsing. They have a mii extender too for people who sit outside. A nice touch.

The biggest Danang disappointment so far considering we read great reviews and came in with rather high expectations. (me and my partner have been living here for years).

Sadly, we didn’t order the croissants people were raving about. Instead, we had a grilled cheese sandwich and mushroom soup. The sandwich was anaemically pale and there was so little cheese it made the butter stand out. The mushroom soup was even a bigger failure — in taste, texture, and size. The unknown substances floating around the soup were questionable. Yet if you’re lucky to stumble upon a mushroom, they were decent enough. Maybe we will come back for croissants to not conflict with previous 5-star reviews.

P.S. Stick to coffee as the cocktails were also unbearable. But the service was...

A real French style croissant!

I wasn't expecting much from the croissant sandwich, but it delivered in an unexpected way. I got the egg and avocado, which was nice but needed some salt and pepper (which they provided). The true standout was the croissant itself though. This is a real croissant, with nicely defined flaky layers, a crisp shell and a stretchy inside. So much better than Cafe Levain. It was hard for me to judge the flavor since it was a sandwich with other things, but I'll update if I ever have a plain croissant. Lovely spot to sit and relax in the morning with coffee, tea, smoothie or...
