The crispy rolls were the highlight of the meal. The vermicelli shrimp paste was DANK because I think they simulate the fishy taste/smell with durian, so it might not be for everyone. I love dank flavors and my vegan gf really enjoyed it, but if you’re not accustomed to those flavor profiles, you might want to order something more mild. This place was so worth the trek. I ordered Cơm Hến (Mussel Rice) and Cơm Gà (Chicken Rice), both of which cost VND 25.000. The rice dishes were delicious, and my Mussel Rice even had a strong shrimp paste aroma (vegan, of course). However, the crackers were soggy and had lost their crispness. Additionally, the staff waited until we were almost finished eating to bring out two bowls of sour soup, without apologising for the delay. Goi cuon (summer rolls) were amazing! The wrap was so soft and chewy. Dipped in a rice sauce? First time dipping it in a rice sauce. Wish they had peanut butter and hoisin dipping sauce though.
