S'box (Spaghettibox) — Restaurant in Hà Nội

What was once an extremely popular spot for myself and friends to enjoy, has become a thing of the past. Food was once served slowly yet tasty and very well priced. Their motto which can be seen on the wall played a fundamental part to their slow service justification "if you want good, cheap food, you have to accept slow service". A light humored statement which made all of us smile and happily wait. Recently however, prices have changed, rising dramatically by nearly 50% of what they once were. This makes it almost hypocritical for the business to still maintain their motto. Although it is not still considered to be expensive, the rise in price seems to have had little effect on the food quality or service speed. This in turn has led myself as well as many others to simply remember the early months of 2018, when Spaghetti Box was still THE place to go. Food quality is alright, although it takes a lengthy wait, usually 20-30 min for a simple spaghetti meal.

The staff however is rude and irresponsible. I have a vegetarian friend who always asked for carbonara without meat, for the first few times he got it without any issues and had the price reduced due to a lack of meat. One time however he was still charged full price and the lady cashier accused him of lying.

This was from 4 years ago though so maybe things have changed, but I can still vividly remember how rude and aggressive the cashier was. We didn't dine there ever again. There are much better...

I came here as a recommendation from my girlfriend. It's a place for students with affordable prices. They offer spaghetti, pizza and fried chicken. It will not be the best pizza or spaghetti that you can get, but for the prize of a pizza in 4ps you can get a pizza, a spaghetti, a beer and a tra sua. We order a pizza with pate and it was quite tasty. I will not recommend the carbonara spaghetti. The place is for students and manage by students, so expect some noise and possible mistakes, slow service... Anyway I will recommend it if you want to eat...
