Part of me did not want to write a review as I sort of want to keep this place as my secret and only share the location with my friends. But on the other hand it was so nice that I would like to share it with like minded people. If you want the real deal and to eat with the locals that this restaurant is ideal. It is a bit out of the way but not that far from the tourist centre. First, the staff, they were very friendly and helpful. The grandmother came out to demonstrate how to eat the bun xeo, no English just a bit of a demo! The atmosphere was perfect for what it is, clean and well light and clean toilets. Now the food, I would suggest you get the combo you try a bit of each dish. The bun xeo is my favourite and I found them nice and crispy on the outside and well filled with the traditional filling. The sauce for dipping is different than I have had before, a bit sweet but very flavourful. ( I am used to Ho Chi Minh bun xeo but these are much better) If you like real local food and are not looking for a western version I think you will...

This is locally the best Ban Xeo place! Very simple Vietnamese restaurant, not much decor, and only a simple menu with 4 options: Ban Xeo, grilled pork, minced pork on a stick, fried spring roll, or a combo. Menu has photos.

Absolutely the VERY BEST Bahn Xeo I have eaten in VN. They just have 4 things to choose from on the menu. Spring rolls, 2 types of meat (only pork I think) and the Bahn Xeo (fried pancake with shrimps). You get salad, rice paper and THE BEST peanut sauce to go with it all. No tourists, open typical VN restaurant. All dishes cost only 40 k and I actually got 4!!! pancakes for that. Incredible!!!! Really lovely lady who runs the place, I call her Madam Butterfly cause that's the first thing she said to me...
