We dined at this cozy little restaurant, and it was an enjoyable experience overall. The ambiance of the place is quite charming, making it a pleasant spot for a casual meal. One of the standout features was the friendliness of the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and attentive service, which really added a personal touch to our visit.
However, there were a few drawbacks. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working during our visit, which made the environment a bit uncomfortable, especially on a scorching day. This was a significant downside as it affected our overall comfort while dining.
On the bright side, the food had its highlights. The mushroom fried rice, in particular, was a delightful surprise. It was flavorful and well-prepared, easily the best dish we tried. The rest of the menu items we sampled were quite ordinary, though not disappointing. They were decent but didn't particularly stand out.
Despite these mixed impressions, the prices were reasonable, making it a good value for money. If the air conditioning issue is fixed, this restaurant would be an even better choice for a quick and enjoyable meal. Overall, it's a nice place with friendly staff and a few standout dishes, worth a visit if you're...
Read moreI’ve dined here 1-2 a week for the last two years.
The staff treats my wife and I like family.
The soups are all great, but be sure to ask for no “hat nem” if you are sensitive to MSG like me.
They’re great at modifying orders and accommodating special requests. They make us a special peanut sauce that’s not on the menu. because of our dietary restrictions.
The prices are very affordable and the portions are large.
The only downside is that there are usually people outside smoking cigarettes which makes the meal far less pleasant. But this is common in Vietnam, sadly.
I would recommend the fresh spring rolls and the tofu w tomato sauce.
The grilled eggplant is yummy, and they’re salads are great, too.
99% of the Vietnamese dishes are great. I wouldn’t recommend the Indian curry, pad Thai, or Korean options if you are expecting them to taste authentic.
It’s rare for a Vietnamese restaurant to nail another Asian countries’ cuisine IMO.
Anyway, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, even meat eaters.
Thank you, ROM.
