We stayed at Gem Hoi An for 5 nights but wish it was for 5 weeks! This place is honestly so relaxing and incredible value for money. By far our most favourite accommodation in all of Vietnam! Hang went absolutely above and beyond for us, she organized so much for us, gave us so many tips and advice and made our stay at this place just so wonderful. Gem Hoi An is like a relaxing retreat, located in the middle of Old Town and the beach, there is free push bikes, an amazing pool, the most delicious breakfast cooked fresh and beautiful views over the rice fields. ||We rode into town multiple times every day and loved the laneway that takes you there! It takes about 10-15 minutes to ride. Hang also organized for us a scooter ($5 a day US) which we putted around on into town and to the beach through the rice fields. ||The rooms are huge and extremely comfortable and clean. We loved watching sunrise from our balcony and ending the day with a sunset swim in the beautiful pool. ||The cooking class that Hang organised for us was also amazing and I highly recommend! ||I don't have the words to describe just how much we loved this place. We felt so comfortable and welcome here, we cannot wait to return, next time for much longer! Thankyou Gem Hoi An for such a wonderful...
Read moreWe had a fantastic time at Gem Villa! We felt very much at home with the 4 girls looking after us so very well! they always had a smile, they cooked for us, cleaned, did our washing and even brought us cold ginger tea when we were floating in the pool during our 8 night stay! ||These 4 dedicated ladies make this a special place to stay! The place is small and intimate, with 3 villas, each comprising of 4 rooms. ||ROOM: Our room (no 3 on the ground floor) was very large with 2 double beds, a huge shower and generally more than enough room to move around in. ||GROUNDS:The grounds could do with a little looking after and the outdoor furniture has seen better days. ||POOL:The pool tiles could do with some replacements and the lights in the pool do not work. During our stay in July, the pool was so warm, it felt like having a bath. Not very refreshing, but still nice to be in the water.||LOCATION:The location is perfect if you don't mind the 15-20 minute walk into the old town of Hoi An. We chose it for the rice fields and got up many mornings at 5am to enjoy the sunrise and a walk through the rice fields... of course Gem Villa offer free bikes, so make use of them! ||||We would recommend anyone to stay at...
Read moreWe stayed here for 7 nights in july (family with 2 children 8 and 10) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. ||||We wanted to stay at a place between the town and the beach, so this hotel was perfect located and with beautiful surroundings. We borrowed bikes (for free) for the beach (easy to find the way and a lovely experience). Otherwise you can take a taxi. It was a 15 min walk to town. We used to walk in and grab a car back to the hotel after having dinner in town. Very close to the hotel, just on the other side of the road, there was a really good restaurant, don’t miss it. ||||Lovely big and clean rooms. The staff were there for you and gave that little extra. Extra thanks to Hang who gave us amazingly service in perfect english, she was so kind and very serviceminded. ||||The breakfast was great; pancakes, lots of fruits, juices, eggs, bread, coffee etc.||||Lovely pool which our children used frequently. The ”pool man” was so kind when we came back late in the evening and turned on the lights in the pool for us. The pool was open 24 hours.||||We strongly recommend a visit here if you want a relaxing stay with beutiful surroundings, with quality rooms and...
