Update Feb 2025 I enjoyed this spot in 2023 so we came back for drinks and snacks. I will say it's very packed with regulars but the drinks and service are as good as 2 years ago. Potent drinks, fresh local ingredients, decent happy hour, and Paloma salad absolute favorite. Has the best cleanest bathrooms and anti-mosquito protocols I've seen of late. The owner is friendly but absolute joy are the ladies behind the bar and service folks. Two thumbs up!

This Double Cat Bar in An Bang, Hoi An is one of our favorite places to visit while in Hoi An. Located in An Bang Beach, which is by the sea and 10-15 minutes from downtown Hoi An. This well-run, quaint restaurant bar is owned by a husband and wife who are very attentive and welcoming. We love everything about this place: The food, drinks, atmosphere and prices. Went here for a so called “happy hour”, to find a cocktail menu appropriate for an entry level drinker (i.e. a teenager). My drink was fluorescent green and horrendous. (Sorry, no pic provided as I sent it back immediately, I did pay for it though). It was called Mystery Cats, it wasn’t mysterious, it was pineapple juice. I then went on to sample Tra Que Garden, it was also bad, but to a lesser degree. Soggy cucumber in flat soda. Leaves much to be desired. As always, lovely staff, likely not to blame.
