This place is absolutely out of this world!! 100% would recommend to everyone who is visiting Hoi An in Vietnam From the vibe, the friendly staff and amazing food, everything was 10/10 🤩 I came here for dinner with my husband We firstly tried the crispy pickles with sriracha sauce - best invention to pickles ever 😭 Then tired the patty melt grilled cheese with tomato soup - the grilled cheese melt was fabulous! The tomato soup was more like chunky tomato marinara sauce and lacked some salt and I felt it didn’t add much to the grilled cheese patty melt and wasn’t needed The classic single smash burger was the best I have ever had - it tasted homemade! The pulled pork bowlritto with gauc and sour cream was the best fusion burrito bowl I’ve tried!! The fried rice with turmeric and egg elevated the dish so much. The cheese steak taco with added gauc and sour cream was chefs kiss 😍 We also tried the Oreo shake, hibiscus strawberry vodka frozen margarita and coke float - all incredible drinks!! The food was really good, but the service was actually really terrible. So I’m surprised about all the good reviews on that. Maybe they were just understaffed today, but there was a good number of people working and running around. I felt rushed when taking the order, they moved us before our food came to accommodate a larger party, and stood in my way so I couldn’t sit in my new seat. I had to ask multiple times for water glasses since we ordered a big water bottle for 2 people and was completely ignored the first time. I got up twice because they were so inattentive to get mayo once, and then more napkins the second time. When our salad came there were no forks to eat it with. I said excuse me to get someone’s attention and they walked away then came back 30 seconds later and said “what?”. I saw one server knock a customers hand w beer in it and made him spill it all over his arm. And when being handed the check, no eye contact or smile. It was just a really weird experience and the staff made me feel anxious and stressed by how fast and sloppy they...

I decided to check this place out given that it had good reviews and enthusiastic ones at that. I have a suspicion that a lot of elements are prepared in advance. Such as the bacon as it came out cold. I mentioned that it was cold and they promptly brought out a new batch. It was hot this time although it was tough, I suspect the bacon is precooked and then refried.

Having read through some prior reviews, reports of food poisoning makes a lot of sense now.

The coffee was made on UHT milk, this gave it a horrible aftertaste. I brought this up and they said that next time it would be fresh milk. I have no intentions of returning but perhaps someone can confirm this.

It was boiling hot inside the restaurant.

They discounted the meal and didn't charge for the coffee. Thus the service score being higher.

There are infinitely better restaurants in Hoi An do yourself a favour and check those out.
