The cafe is nicely decorated inside and out, with chill and relaxing music playing. The owner is kind and friendly as well. I liked a lot of things about this cafe except, well, the coffee.

I got the first item on the menu, a coffee at 50k that was recommended by the owner. At this price, and on the owner's recommendation, I was excepting something of high quality. Instead, I got a disposable pour over filter with pre-ground coffee, and instructions on how to brew it myself. The setup was cute, but the coffee did not bloom and tasted a bit stale. When mixed with the included condensed milk and poured over ice, it all became very watered down.

Maybe I just got unlucky with bad batch of grounds/filters. Still, at 50k, I'd expect freshly ground coffee, and I don't see any way around it being watered down when making as instructed. I feel it's quite a shame though, as everything else about the cafe made it seem like a very nice place to...

The actual ambience is very relaxing, and dining inside you’ll find a library of books, classic wood furniture and classical music playing in the background. An inspiring place to start your day!

Outside is tranquil with seating in a small garden with views of the rice fields and birdsong in the background.

The intersection of Beatles and classical works really well, and coupled with simple coffee and teas, you have a peaceful escape from the bustle of the ancient town.

Wasn’t open the other day so was determined to see it today ,,cycled in the hot sun to get there ,,a nice smile and a glass of water to welcome me ,,first three things I saw was a John Lennon sign ,,Sherlock homes and asama bin laden ..I thought this is going to be interesting place .. Thought I would stay inside as the air was still hot outside .i ordered a 1995 black tea from Hanoi .as it was a retro style cafe I wanted to honour the tea growers and pickers from an other age ,,,,it didn’t disappoint ..I settled in a listen to the back ground music sometimes singing along ,,,great atmosphere ,,good firm goodbye see you again handshake from the owner...
