We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hoi An Pinus Boutique Hotel. Will and Mrs Ly made us feel welcome and at home right from the start. Both were super friendly and incredibly helpful, nothing felt like too much for them!
We unfortunately came down with the flu during our visit to Hoi An, but we were well looked after and were given hot ginger tea, soups at breakfast and a steam inhalation which made us feel much, much, better!
Our room was well designed, bright, extremely clean, spacious, have high ceilings and are well equipped with the usual necessities like fridge, kettle, tea, coffee etc. The bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast served was exceptional and plentiful and the menu changed everyday (ranging from tasty omelettes with bread, soups, banana pancakes, fresh fruit and coffee). The breakfast was incontestably the best food we had during our visit to Hoi An.
The hotel was well positioned amongst the calm and tranquil rice fields whilst being easily accessible to the old town by bicycle or grab taxi.
Well maintained Bicycles were available to us free of charge which we used to get to explore around the old town as well as cycle through the nearby rice fields. We also needed to rent a scooter for one day, this was easily organised through Will for a very reasonable price.
There was also a water fountain which we could use to refill our water bottles.
We highly recommend staying here whilst visiting Hoi An, it truly felt like a home away from home!
Thanks again to Will who made our stay...
Read moreUtterly disgraceful management (Pinus Hội A Boutique (Will) Hiếu Trương) and shockingly offensive behavior from start to finish. From the moment I stepped foot on the property, I knew I had made a terrible mistake. There is no welcome, no hospitality, and certainly no effort to offer even the most basic guidance on what to see or do. The service is abysmal—see the attached photos for proof.
Requesting simple housekeeping is met not with professionalism, but with blatant disrespect. They laugh at your requests, mock you openly, and seem to take pride in making guests feel unwelcome. The atmosphere is toxic, the management is unfit for their role, and accountability is non-existent. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to subject yourself to humiliation and appalling treatment.
Also, don’t be fooled by any disingenuous replies by management to this review. Their replies are nothing more than damage control — carefully worded to save face and not take responsibility. At any hotel, basic friendliness is expected. But what guests are truly paying for is professional, respectful management. I received neither.
The reality is laid bare in the screenshots I’ve attached: unprofessional, dismissive, and downright inappropriate messages that speak volumes about how they truly treat guests once the...

When we left DaNang we didn’t know where to go and found this truly hidden gem! From the moment I stepped in the Villa I felt a very warm, welcoming sense. We were greeted with fresh fruits which made the experience even more pleasant.
The rooms are great. Spacious, clean, bright and you have everything what you need. Comfortable bed, great shower with pleasant water pressure and a wonderful design to top it off.
If you want to cook your own food there is space for that in the kitchen downstairs too.
The area is super quiet and you are surrounded by rice fields everywhere which make your stay even more lush and calming. If you’re looking for a place to rest and recharge while also be able to enjoy and explore the surroundings this is perfect. It’s the perfect spot to base yourself in Hoi An. You can explore the old town while knowing you can escape the hustle and bustle when coming home. The beach is also only a short drive away. Bicycles are available too!
Will and his family are doing everything they can to make you feel welcomed, taken care of and are always there if you need anything. And of course Luca and Bap the two doggies are a special feature. They are the cutest and will certainly make you smile.
