The restaurant spans two floors, and I highly recommend dining on the second floor for a more pleasant view. The menu is diverse, featuring everything from shawarma wraps, cheese naan, to butter chicken curry, satisfying a wide range of tastes. On my visit, I requested a Fish Biryani, which wasn't on the menu. To my delight, the owner personally prepared it with great care and enthusiasm.

The staff at Indian Master Food are exceptionally friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. This restaurant is an excellent choice for Muslim travelers seeking halal meals in Ha Long. If you happen to visit on a Friday, the restaurant hosts a group Jumaat Prayer, adding to its welcoming atmosphere.

For those who prefer to dine in the comfort of their hotel room, Indian Master Food offers free delivery within a 5KM radius. After your meal, take a leisurely walk along the nearby Ha Long Bay coast to enjoy the beautiful scenery and promote health benefits.

The restaurant is located on the main road, located on the second and third floor of a building and is not difficult to find. Some tables have a view over the busy road and windows can be opened in case it gets too hot inside. Thankfully, there is no loud music playing in the restaurant.

The service was good, although it did take a bit long to get my order in, the food arrived relatively quickly. During the meal the staff will also approach you and ask if everything is to your liking which is a nice gesture.

The food was really good, one of the better Indian restaurants I've visited during my two month trip of Vietnam. The portion size was also just right for one person, not too much, not too few.

The only downside is the price. Ha Long is a bit more expensive than the rest of Vietnam so if you order your curry, naan, rice and a drink you can expect to pay around 300k VND. It didn't help either that I got charged a higher price for the naan than was mentioned on the menu card (45k vs 60k) which I only noticed after I got home. Also, 20k for a small water bottle is double the price of most restaurants I've been to in Vietnam.

My boyfriend and I stayed in Ha Long for two nights and each night was made so special by this amazing restaurant.

The first night the food was absolutely outstanding- probably the best curry we have ever tasted! The owner and the staff went out of their way to make sure eveything was up to standard and were so attentive all night making sure we hade enough to drink. We loved it so much we decided to go back the next night for my boyfriend’s birthday.

I messaged the owner on WhatsApp to ask if he could help plan a surprise for my boyfriend and wow didn’t he impress! The owner bought balloons and put them on the wall, had a bottle of champagne on the table and even let me pick a play list to play while eating his amazing food! And to top it all off, once we had finished our meals the staff brought out a cake with my boyfriend’s name written on it complete with candles and decorations! The night couldn’t have gone any better and it was such a lovely surprise even, for me! The amount of love and effort that went into every aspect of the night really blew me away.

Thank you so much for having us. It was an absolute pleasure and you really made our stay in Ha Long so special.
