송도 해물 주점 Songdo Seafood Pocha — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

I've been supporting this restaurant for quite some time, but the last experience was extremely disappointing and I will no longer support this business.

For context, I have spent a lot of money here (at least 15 visits), shared this place with many Vietnamese, Japanese, and other foreigner friends, and have been supporting them at both the old and new location.

I cannot believe a business can operate like this in 2025.

There is no such thing as appreciation for loyal, regular customers. In my last visit, the staff was so rude and disrespectful - from the junior staff all the way to the head server or manager (the tall woman) - the tone they used to talk down to us, the lack of willingness to accommodate us, and even the explicit disdain showed to us to our faces - I wouldn't even treat a dog this way.

Do not conflate being a busy, popular restaurant as being invincible. You should treat all your customers well because you never know who you will offend or upset. All good things can...

The food is a must-try at all costs, we had 3 dishes as the picture attached. The price is very affordable even if you join for 2 or a group. But the staff’s attitude is the biggest problem that might put us far away from the 2nd visit. When we were entering, there weren’t any staff to greet and lead, we had to call 3 people who stayed at the POS counter and pointed their backs to us (2 staff have uniforms, 1 lady left wore casual clothes). Then we asked for a table in the private room, the “boss acting” lady answered us it was reserved. Of course, we basically understood and accepted to sit at the table assigned, but her attitude was described by her glance then side-eyes. Not just even a quick smile to show their dedication. The other lower level staff spent their time scrolling their phone screen instead of taking care of the guests, they missed 2 times we waved & asked...

Nice cute place to experience Korean food&drinking street style. The staff all very nice and welcoming. They give out a set of free food : cold soup (I feel abit weird in the beginning then I couldn’t stop eating it),pancake and kimchi. The potion is abit large if you come just two peoples. Ioveeeeeee the fish salad and all seafood there so fresh!

If you book in advance you can sit in private room,it’s cozy and cute.
