WORST coffee shop experience of my life. I have never encountered a staff member as rude as the one I encountered here. I can't believe this coffee shop has a 4.2-star rating and still manages to have customers. Well, because they don't know how badly they actually treat their customers here. Just so you know, this coffee shop used to be one of my go-to places to study for finals and tests. However, after the experience I had, I was truly disappointed. My friends and I were studying there from the afternoon until late evening when we decided to grab a proper meal because the shop only sells sweets and drinks. We tried to quickly have a bite and return, but a staff member literally stopped us and refused to let us stay any longer bc we cant leave our stuff here for a long time. I understand if there is such a policy, but there were no signs indicating this beforehand. NOT ONLY THAT, she told us to stay still, and it turns out she shoved our stuff in our bag and brought it downstairs alr. Moreover, the way the staff member stared at us in front of other customers and made a scene was extremely unprofessional and rude. Her tone was aggressive and completely unacceptable. fyi, we didn't just stay there; we also purchased a "cheap" drink (the cheapest one was around 60k) for the duration of our stay. Additionally, we bought 3-4 cakes, and our total bill amounted to around half a million dong. This staff member's (the lady with her hair tie in a ponytail and tattooed eyebrows, in her 40s) disrespectful behavior is not new to me. I had a previous encounter with her when she glared at me because I went upstairs before placing my order. I simply wanted to put my stuff down first. My friends were present, and it was evident that other customers also felt tense and pressured due to her actions. After this experience, I realized how unprofessional this coffee shop is. the lady there was borderline yelling and berating their customers over a minor miscommunication (even though there are no sign that this was one of their policy). There could have been a better way to communicate the policy without being rude. I don't accept an apology here because, based on other reviews from years ago, it is clear that they continue to be extremely rude and disrespectful to their customers. again pls for anyone who is reading, this is a sign to go here. 100% not worth it.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, When we were confronted by the staff lady, we were in no way rude to her. We politely nodded our heads, apologized, and left quietly. We even said thank you when she gave us our stuff that she had shoved back into our bag.We never lash out at any staff member or engage in any behavior that the owner deems as rude.(all we did was talk quietly and study when we stay there) However, despite our respectful conduct, the staff member acted in the opposite manner. This incident appears to be a recurring issue at the coffee shop, as it seems that frustrated staff members tend to speak harshly to customers who unknowingly violate an undocumented policy.

Been coming here for years,and honestly, because I like the place so much, I rarely introduce it to my friends as I want to keep it only to myself. 😊 It is probably that one place that I would always visit whenever I just want to completely relax or need to get some work done. Can stay here for up to 3 hours or more, especially during off-peak hours. Since this place is also loved by many Korean "ahjummas", you might feel a bit uncomfortable sometimes, but basically the sound of people chatting and laughing makes a coffee shop more enjoyable for me.
