La Haye Kitchen & Bar - DIAMOND — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

I live in the complex and finally went here with some friends and it was embarrassing to say the least. I ordered the Bruschetta as an appetizer and what was brought out to me was an absolute joke that the table started laughing. It consisted of 3 tiny little pieces of barely baked bread, a slice of lettuce, a generic tomato and a small hunk of cheese. It was the worst I had ever seen of this well known and popular dish. The fact that they charge 100k for it was just absurd. Normally I would have left, but we were hungry. Our guest had ordered an entre' that they forgot to make and was brought out as we were asking for the bill. Again, embarrassing. The menu is large and overly expensive but in my opinion for the service, quality and lack of knowledge on how to prepare a proper dish, I will never return here and I live here. Location is terrible. Their Google Maps address does NOT specify the block. I and my friend arrived at the different lobbies (this place has like a dozen of them) and waited 15mins (!) for a staff to come and "lead" us to the restaurants.

The security guard and receptionist DECLINED to show us the way, DECLINED to press the elevator (only usable with residence card) for us and DECLINED to call the staff for us.

Chẳng là hôm vừa rồi đi lang thang BLOQ ở Q2 vô tình bắt gặp một quán ngộ lắm, tách biệt hẳn với style mấy quán xung quanh, nhìn thì tưởng là pub, mà thực ra là nhà hàng Âu-Á kết hợp bar :))) Ưng quán này quá nên phải rì viu ngay. . Mình có thử món Karaage Chicken, k biết ghi đúng tên k nữa, kakkk )) kiểu gà viên rán, hơi mặn chút xíu thích hợp làm mồi nhắm với bia hay strongbow gì cũng bá cháy bọ chét hết :)) Gà k bị khô, kiểu giòn bên ngoài mà vẫn mềm mềm bên trong é. Chấm thêm tí sốt tỏi ăn lạ miệng mà phê lắm, những bạn cuồng gà giống mình sẽ rất thích luôn.. . Món thứ 2 là pasta sốt kem ăn kèm với vẹm xanh New Zealand (anh phục vụ nói sao mình tin vại kkk). Pasta khá là béo vị kem sữa, nên bạn nào k thích vị kem sữa chắc không hạp. Thứ lỗi cho đứa đó giờ chưa ăn vẹm như mình :)) còn nghĩ chắc giống con nghêu, mà cắn vô phát cảm giác như đang ở giữa đại dương vậy, tươi và ngon lắm các chế ạ.. . Về không gian, vì trời nóng nên mình chọn ngồi bên ngoài cho thoáng, có view nhìn thẳng vào quầy bar bên trong quán. Mình đi vào thứ 6 nên tình cờ được thưởng thức thêm acoustic của BLOQ nữa, buổi tối hôm đó...
