Le Montage - Bistro / Cafe — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

We ate yesterday and completely disappointed w all the service and the food. We ordered 3 dishes which are pesto pasta, grill prawn salad and pan seared salmon. There is a problem in the mash potato on salmon plate. It’s off as it tasted sour. Yucks. And they change the plate for me, not even apology. They gave me the second dish with the same taste sour mash potato. And explain to me kitchen accidentally mixed sour cream to it. I asked to return the food as we cant eat anymore. Kitchen staff was nice to say sorry to us and offer a free dessert. However, the worst part came at our bill. When the bill was presented, it still counted salmon on it as we didnt touch the food. I asked to take off then the manager came with the worst coldest face ever i saw in hospitality industry (as i work in hospitality as well). Not even ask what happened, she insisted us to pay for the item. My girlfriend asked to check the bill again and the manager took it and went to check w the kitchen, came back and presented another bill. DIDNT EVEN SAY SORRY !!!!!!! I had a splendid lunch at Le Montage. I craved some healthy and delicious food, and this was my first choice. I am definitely very pleased with my choice! The waitress was very kind and polite. She did her best to make me feel comfortable and cared for. The service was a bit slow given the place was not crowded. Nonetheless, the food was exquisite and if you have a little time to spare I advise you to take Le Montage into consideration.

This bistro is quite near to Saigon south and sunrise apartment. If you wanna have a lite brunch and cozy time, this is the place. The WiFi here is strong, you can also work from here. They play jazz music 🎵 that soothes you. They do have some culinary books 📚 , you can read to pass your time. I ordered their regular breakfast “Croissant with egg and scrambled eggs” 🥐and earl grey hot chocolate ☕️ .
