Pizza 4P's at Giga Mall in Ho Chi Minh City presents a fascinating blend of Japanese precision and Italian culinary artistry, offering a dining experience that's both unique and generally satisfying. My recent visit, while not flawless, certainly left a positive impression, earning a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The restaurant's ambiance is a key element of its appeal. It's a modern, bright, and airy space, reflecting the clean, minimalist aesthetic that Pizza 4P's is known for. The open kitchen concept allows diners to witness the chefs at work, crafting pizzas with meticulous care, adding a theatrical element to the meal. The Giga Mall location, being relatively new, boasts a fresh and contemporary feel, making it a pleasant environment for both casual gatherings and special occasions. The service, as expected from a well-established chain, is attentive and professional. Staff members are knowledgeable about the menu and offer helpful recommendations, ensuring that diners feel well-cared for. They are also quick to address any concerns, contributing to a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
The pizza, the star of the show, is undeniably good. The crust, a crucial component, strikes a balance between thinness and chewiness, providing a sturdy base for the diverse toppings. The ingredients are clearly of high quality, sourced both locally and internationally, adding to the overall freshness and flavor. Pizza 4P's excels in its innovative flavor combinations, often incorporating Japanese ingredients and techniques into traditional Italian dishes. The "Sakura Shrimp & Uni" pizza, for instance, is a testament to this fusion, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to culinary creativity. However, while the pizzas are generally excellent, they can sometimes be a bit pricey, especially considering the relatively modest portion sizes. This is a point that might deter some budget-conscious diners. Additionally, while the menu is extensive, some of the more experimental pizzas might not appeal to everyone's palate. The focus on unique combinations, while commendable, can sometimes lead to flavors that are a bit too unconventional.
Beyond pizza, Pizza 4P's offers a range of other dishes, including pasta, salads, and appetizers. The pasta dishes, while not as iconic as the pizzas, are well-executed and flavorful. The salads are fresh and vibrant, providing a refreshing contrast to the richer pizza options. However, for me, the true standout dish, the one that elevates the entire dining experience, is the double layer cheesecake. It's a masterpiece of texture and flavor, a symphony of creamy richness and subtle sweetness. The cheesecake's two layers, each with its distinct texture and flavor profile, blend harmoniously, creating a dessert that is both indulgent and refined. The crust, perfectly crumbly and buttery, provides a delightful contrast to the smooth, velvety layers of cream cheese. The sweetness is carefully balanced, preventing the dessert from becoming cloying. It's a dessert that lingers in the memory, a testament to the restaurant's commitment to culinary excellence beyond its signature pizzas. I have had many cheesecakes in Ho Chi Minh city, and this one is by far the best I have tasted.
The beverage selection at Pizza 4P's is also commendable, featuring a range of wines, beers, and cocktails. The wine list, while not extensive, offers a decent selection of Italian and international wines, catering to various preferences. The beers, both local and imported, provide a refreshing accompaniment to the pizzas. The cocktails, crafted with care and creativity, offer a more adventurous option for those seeking a unique beverage experience. The restaurant also offers a selection of non-alcoholic beverages, including fresh juices and...

Read moreThe food is good but the service is quite bad.
Even though you are welcomed at the entrance and the ambience is good, some service personnel have NO idea how to serve a client at his table, (beside the fact that their English is bad for a high scale restaurant like 4P, they cant even say: "are you ready to order?" Is it everything ok?" "How are you doing today". Can't you even learn the very basic words? Whatever).
There is a complete disregard of the customer on a human level: -Serious and shy attitude -No eye contact -A fake little smile -The platter put on your table with no love like you are an object.
Last time I lost my appetite by the way this lady approached my table: a cold, serious face, no eye contact, the pizza put on my table. DONT come to my table with that face. I would rather go to the kitchen and get my pizza myself.
Then before you leave they beg for a 5 star review. (??). Nah, you don't know what a 5 star service look like. Tip for the service personnel: go take a look how other waiters serve in other countries and learn.
If you are shy, can't smile, have no personality, do NOT work in a high scale restaurant.
