If you're in search of a cozy and romantic spot for a special night out, Sóno is a restaurant that you must try. My partner and I recently dined at Sóno, and we were blown away by the exceptional food, ambiance, and service. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a chic and elegant interior design that exuded modernity and sophistication. We were immediately struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere, which made us feel right at home. The menu at Sóno is a delicious fusion of Asian and European cuisine, and we had trouble deciding what to order as everything sounded so tempting. We ended up selecting the Wagyu “Phở” for a starter, the Wagyu beef steak with Chimichurri sauce, and the Coconut ice cream for dessert. Each dish was a work of art, and the flavors were impeccably balanced, creating a mouthwatering explosion of taste in every bite. The service at Sóno was flawless, and the staff went above and beyond to make our evening special. They were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, making us feel like VIPs throughout the meal. Overall, our experience at Sóno was unforgettable, and we highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. It's an ideal spot for a romantic date or a special celebration, and we can't wait to return to this hidden gem in the heart...
Read moreSono has been on the list for quite a while and I finally chose to celebrate Halloween here. This place truly deserives a 5 star rating for their service, venue and of course the food quality. As a meat lover, I find myself in paradise as Sono's menu was heavily centered around meat/grill dishes. Most of the meats were locally sourced - so that's a plus for me. We tried 4 different dishes and here's my thought on all dishes The starters: Lamb Kofta: Extreme flavorful and soft. This came with 2 pieces of pita bread (but more like Vietnamese bánh tiêu as they were mildy sweet). We munched on the breads throughout our meal lol Tenderloin beef: We did not think this was as good as other fishes, the beef was dry and too lean. I want my beef juicy and tender. Duck breast: Extremely tasty and generous in potion. The sauce reminds me of Hanoi's traditional dish Vịt Om Sấu. Highly recommend this. Black ink squid pasta: Another excellent dish. The squid was so fresh and crispy. House bread with butter: I loved their butter here - so flavorful and went so well with complementary sourdough bread. We also tried the halloween cocktails which were had cute decor and fun to eat. The desserts were Marou Chocolate Lava Cake and Lemon Almond Tart - I highly recommend the Lemon...
Read moreI had my first experience at Sóno in Thao Dien, which I had been curious about for a while. I made the reservation over the phone, and the staff's courteous service was very helpful. In July 2025, they were offering only one course dinner themed on Vietnamese fairy tales. The menu described seven dishes. All the dishes were delicious, and especially the main dishes, Black Buffalo & Golden Cow and The Warrior's Feast, were visually and taste-wise outstanding.
It felt like there were fewer customers because the restaurant has a hidden atmosphere and is difficult to find. Personally, I felt the lighting was a bit dim, but the ambiance was excellent. You might feel the price of the dishes is high, but considering the taste of the course meal and the service of the staff, I thought it was a reasonable and fair price.
The wine storage and pouring methods were stylish, but they didn't seem practical. When pouring wine into the customers' glasses, there was leakage from the junction of the cap and bottle, which stained...
