SEIS Bakery & Coffee — Restaurant in Hue City

SEIS is very easy to find because it's near the bridge and directly across from the river.

Coffee with mung bean (cà phê dầu xanh) is wow. Tiramisu cake is spongy, not overly sweet and does have a little rum in the cake (the proper way to make it is with rum). I like this variety. I also ordered the peanut bread with roasted peanuts on top (crisp and crunchy on the outside. Softer on the inside)

Service is great with a very pleasant greeting. Served the items fairly quick.

I was a bit disappointed with my experience here. The shop itself looks very nice. But the pastry and drinks were a bit disappointing.

We had a tea, which was served luke-warm instead of hot. And had little flavour. I ordered a chocolate mousse from the window, yet was given a strawberry instead. Staff mentioned that they didn't want to sell the Chocolate ones as they weren't good. Even though they were placed there for sale.Very strange. Came for breakfast and we loved it. If you'd like to indulge yourself in some pastries, this is the place. Excellent diversity of pastries, shakes, teas and coffees. Everything looks delicious. The place itself is very nicely decorated and they even have a nice balcony upstairs. Had a bit of a hard time trying to communicate with the staff because they don't speak a word of English, but nothing google translator...
