Les Jardins de la Carambole — Restaurant in Hue City

We visited this restaurant around 5.30 pm on a rainy evening. At the time of visiting, there were no other visitors, but the restaurant filled up quickly. The ambience inside the restaurant was soothing and the fireplace added warmth on a rainy evening. The restaurant is clean & spacious and has a capacity for about 40-50 people (downstairs) to dine in at once. Seating was available both outside & inside. Parking was available for a few vehicles.

We tried a cheese pizza, an egg fried rice & a Passion-fruit juice for dinner, and they turned out to be delicious. The pizza was soft & we loved it. It only took around half an hour for the food to arrive.

Their washroom was clean & tidy. We left one of our pouches in the restaurant by mistake, but the staff somehow managed to contact our taxi driver and handed it back to us. Kudos to the...

Restaurant close to the ancient city emperor palace in Huê. I searched for a nice restaurant in the area and this one popped up. It’s a mixed menu between French, Vietnamese and Italian. We were the only customers during our stay, they had a big group of Americans leave but that was it while we was there. Maybe the road works on had an impact on business while it was getting maintained.

The decor was nice lovely house with french feel with green shutters. The food was super tasty and even changed couple of the dishes as the menu is super sea food heavy but were happy to change it to chicken for me, which was great. There is plants of cocktails To choose from with lovely presentation skills.

Overpriced for low quality “French” food. Their Vietnamese menu is great, just not their “French.” Steaks was chewy and flavorless. Had the canned tuna salad and it was something my five year could have put together. Paid $240 USD for a table of 10 and it was the worst food in Hue, the price tag was insulting to the beautiful house that is now converted to a restaurant. The crème brûlée was lacking sweetness and the portion a were underwhelming for all. Set menu for four should be only for two people. Worst experience in Vietnam. I feel robbed for the price I paid.
