Senta Vegetarian — Restaurant in Nha Trang City

Found this nice, modern and clean restaurant with only good looking vegetarian dishes. After some nice green smoothies we ordered seven starter dishes. After waiting half an hour, we received one of the seven dishes. 45 minutes later we received the same dish, which we only order once. After asking the waiter for our food he told us to wait ten minutes for the rest of our food to arrive. After half an hour we decided to pay and leave the restaurant. We asked one of the employees for the bill, who sat us down at our table and ignore us for a next ten minutes. We stoop up our self and walked over to the employees to pay for our drinks and food.

We saw irritated customers at the other tables aswel. While a lot of employees in the restaurant, there still was a vibe of chaos and discomfort.

Never the less, the food we got tasted delicious. The smoothies where fresh and presented very nice. We got a wet towel to clean our hand after the one dish. The restaurant looked very new and clean. Almost western like.

Overall I would give this place a second chance besides the bad experience the first time. Sadly we are on vacation and that would not...

This is showing on google maps as a vegetarian restaurant called Senta but it’s not, it’s a restaurant called Oi Nha Trang and they serve meat and fish. They have a good vegetarian menu though if you ask for it. I had a pad Thai with tofu that was very tasty. I found it a bit over-priced, there were a lot of staff who were very kind and attentive but it took a long time for my food to come even though the restaurant was really quiet. I think they had forgotten, but can’t be sure. Considering there are several vegetarian and vegan restaurants in the area, selling more affordable and equally delicious food I wouldn’t choose to go to Senta again. I really enjoyed the food, it was a bit pricey but worth it. I was planning to come back since I liked the food so much. But in the end all of the sudden they made us pay 25% more than the original price. They just wrote down with pen +15% and another 10% out of that on the receipt. This without telling us or written down anywhere so we would know before. We ended up paying 100.000VND more than we should have. We were really mad and said its not fair to do that without writing that down anywhere or telling us. All they said was sorry.
