This restaurant does traditional banh mi as well as the classic "sizzling plate" breakfast. Although the metal plate wasn't sizzling and more decorative in my opinion, the food was delicious. The base dish comes with eggs, vietnamese sausage (it looks like a hotdog but it has a totally different flavor), pate, and fries. You can choose variants of it which include other proteins such as beef, chicken, pork etc. Each order comes with plain banh mi bread to soak up the meat and sauce. Everything was made fresh as the lone server had to go into the back to cook. In a town where every restaurant has huge menus to cater to every imaginable customer, it was refreshing to see one place specialize in a few items.

We got a chicken and a pork banh mi, and we found both to be a bit disappointing. The bread was really more like a soft bun than a baguette, and there was not that much filling. The meat didn’t have much flavour, and there were not enough pickled veggies. It seemed like they cater only to tourists.

We instantly became a bit obsessed with this place and came back 2 more times 😂 The second and third times I had the peanut butter tofu banh mi, which I honestly think was the best sandwich of my life so far...
