I was all excited because of the reviews but this place is bland. Which is a shame, because everything else I've had in Vietnam has been delicious.
The staff is sweet and not super overbearing. I asked the server what his preference was for stir-fried beef dish and he gave me a look like "I don't eat this stuff..." but managed to suppress the thought and pointed to the stir-fried beef with pineapple and onion.
It was edible.
I also got a frozen limeade because it is HOT. The dang thing has some sort of cream in it. They couldn't tell me what exactly, just that it is vegetable based. It tastes like vanilla ice cream...with lime. But I have to say it was delicious. Unlike the flavor-less beef.

Food: we both LOVED IT!!! Portions, and taste are perfect. Staff: it is a family owned restaurant, they all work together, they are super welcoming, friendly. No complaints about service. Facilities: there's restroom. They set up a fan next to you. CLEAN (I was very thankful for that). There's not much noise as it's not on the main street.

The kitchen is right there so you can see them chopping the veggies for your bahn mi. The salt coffee was great and not too heavy or thick and the blended limeade is amaaaazing.
