Came here for dinner with 5 friends and all ordered a different dish.

I personally ordered a Pho Xao Bo with a ginger & lemon tea. After these items I ordered myself a fruit with yoghurt bowl as dessert.

The pho xao bo took 45min to come out from the moment of ordering and got served cold. Flavour wise it was nothing too special.

The Ginger, lemon tea took 20min to prepare and got served after another table who came in after us.

The fruit & yoghurt bowl was of average quality.

I wanted to add some spice to my dish and opened the chili that was on the table, only to find a dead beetle inside. The wait, the quality and the dead insect in the condiments put me off entirely of eating there again.

The lady that runs the shop is kind and cares about your experience there, yet I somehow think she could not handle the busyness. To mention, there were 2 other tables of two people there at that time.

Don’t miss this place when you are in Tam Coc. I made a mistake trying out another popular resto on our last day. We should have just ate here and tried their other dishes. Amazing food, amazing service, very nice owners that know how to cook delicious dishes. This place is a quintessential unassuming vietnamese food place — simple set up, sinole menu, but anything you try will blow you away. Their Com Rang Ga (chicken fried rice) for example is way much better than what we had at Thung Sen (which offers cooking lessons). I think Linh and her husband should be the one offering cooking lessons hahaha! Linh even offered us free bananas for dessert and free bottled water, which was totally unexpected. The food is excellent. The price is really reasonable and the staff or the restaurant owner was extremely nice.

The first time, I ordered a bowl of beef Phở. It was as big as a big bowl in Germany. It was absolutely amazing. The crepe was quite good as well. After meals, you will be served some fruits for free.
