We've had lots of amazing meals in Vietnam, but this certainly wasn't one of them! In fact, it was definitely the worst meal we've had here, and if we were eating it outside of Vietnam we wouldn't even be able to tell it was supposed to be Vietnamese.
There was no sign of the amazing flavours that we have had elsewhere, as our curry, chicken stir fry and mango smoothies were all very bland, and the salad was mostly lettuce with barely any herbs for flavour. The duck on the salad was really the only redeeming element amongst the mains, and the four seasons tea was nice.
Service seemed a bit confused, making two errors. Mains were 150k each which is comparatively expensive for Vietnam, and very expensive considering the quality of the food.

They went out of their way to ensure that the set menu offered was gluten-free, with the owner coming to our table to explain the 'breaded chicken' was made from gluten free crumb and apologising that the dumplings were the onky thing he couldn't make gluten-free. Read moreAfter trekking up 485 steps mua cave, this place is exactly what you need. Pleasant and very clean. Sit on the second floor, nice breeze and view. Atmosphere and layout of the restaurant easy to get around and very pretty.
Try the special teas, very refreshing. We had the set menu. Service is excellent and attentive. Food was quick and efficient. Hot and plenty of it.
Fried spring rolls were very good. Chicken curry very tasty.
