The owners were genuinely distraught about a review placed the previous day. It was extremely disappointing that the reviewer (D1nar) did not engage with the owners about how they had been duped into putting war propaganda stickers in the window. The way that D1nar dealt with this totally unfair and almost as disingenuous as the people that put up the stickers. The owners are humble, softly-spoken, gentle people who just want to do their best in the way that they know how: good, honest, quality food at reasonable prices. The relaxing music and peaceful surroundings added to the ambience - which was sadly ruined by customers thumbing through noisy posts on social media showing no consideration for others by imposing on other diners unwanted noise pollution.

The food and drink: The smoothies and coffee were excellent and represented good value for money. In respect of the Sunday Breakfast, it seemed like some of the items had been pre-cooked and a big no-no for me is garlic on a cooked breakfast (both the mushrooms and tomatoes were overwhelmed with garlic). I accept that I may be in a minority about this and in all fairness if I had looked closer at the photos on here, the garlic is visible. Hence...

A must try in Tam Coc without a doubt 🩷 The staff is very friendly and super professional, and they present the food and drinks in a beautiful way. The atmosphere of the cafe invites you to stay here hours and hours, with the background music and quietness. It is the best spot to star your day slowly and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. When it comes to drinks, you can enjoy italian favourite coffees, such as expresso or cappuccino, but also the amazing vietnamese coffees. Regarding the food, this is the perfect cafe to enjoy a western breakfast when you need a break from the gorgeous vietnamese food. I had the avocado toast with poached eggs and betroot hummus. Delicious 😋 I also had the coconut coffee (which I am obssesed with), and it was my favourite one so far in Vietnam. It is a cold coffee made with real coconut milk frozen (as is ice cream), then they poor on top a shot of expresso to finally top it up with caramelised coconut flakes. Strange vibe, highly politicised and seemingly pro-genocide, this was noticed after ordering unfortunately otherwise we would have left.

Cash-only which was very inconvenient - there were no warnings nor signs prior to ordering.
