Had dinner here with five people. During my my stay in Vietnam, I have not eaten chicken until now. This seemed like the place to try out a Vietnamese chicken dish.
Assumption is that this is a families business. A child in front of the restaurant enjoying watching TikTok and some dogs and puppies running around. Poop and pee, yes they all do this in the restaurant. A woman who walks around in bugs bunny pajamas and is covered in grease splatters (in my opinion she should look more representative). We just can't compare it to Europe.
I ordered rice with chicken and honey. Tasted weird already but it would probably be due to the preparation.
Today I got horribly sick. I don't think the chicken was quite right anymore. Had to go to the toilet quite a bit and just before I boarded the train had to spit out my stomach completely. Now I am writing this review with quite a stomach ache and I have to keep this up for another 12 hours.
The restaurant is otherwise fine but please . do pay attention to what you serve to guests. Even if the business is not busy during this period, you cannot serve spoiled food.

Thank you for your response. I am simply not mistaken. My description has nothing to do with not accepting the way of Vietnamese doings. I am in Vietnam so indeed I cannot compare this to the European one. As a Vietnamese, I understand that.
It does remain that it is less hygienic if the dogs go there in the restaurant to poop and pee. Or do you not agree with me in that?
In addition, I am trying to indicate with this review that the food was simply no longer good to be served. This relates to the chicken I received.
From a fine vacation I became very sick after this dish. As I point out, this is a signal that in the future you should just serve fresh food. In this case, the chicken that was no longer good. I have a strong stomach especially since I am Vietnamese myself and am used to eating Vietnamese food. I'm not trying to destroy restaurants or something as you mentioned. Because I give fine five-star reviews in other places.
Do what you want with this. I am not a bot giving...
Read moreGreat Tam Coc Vietnamese family restaurant with outstanding service from ~Dzung Đầu Gấu and her family who in exceptional circumstances could not do enough to help us. So on arrival my wife realised she left her bag in the taxi. Dzung was immediately on the ball and acted swiftly and utilised family and friends to try and trace the taxi which was from another town. She took us to the Police and explained and acted as interpreter. She despatched another taxi to the other town to find the relevant taxi and ask it to return the item. One hour later my wife was reunited with her bag and valuables. It was exceptional service and she spent a lot of time assisting us whilst running a business. What a wonderful person and a complete credit to the Vietnamese friendly and helpful nature. I’m sure we would not got this level of kindness from other local high street restaurants. Alongside that we were served our dinner and drinks which we thoroughly enjoyed, great service and very tasty local food....
Read moreThe last drop was not only a great place to hang out and have authentic Veitnamese delicious food, but for me it was also the place that made my trip memorable in every sense. The place was located right outside my hotel, so first day I decided to try is for lunch. The food was quite good, with my personal favorites to be the pho, frest spring rolls and the coffee. On top on it, the hosts are very welcoming, friendly and could speak good english. Not only do they run a restaurant, they also run a travel booking center right there, where you can rent bycycle, rent private transfers, book tours and even exchange currency. All that with great rates. I ended up making all my bookings with them, including my transfer back to Hanoi. The driving partners they link you up were also very friendly and nice. This place became a one stop place for me during my 3 day stay in Tam Coc, Ninh Binh where I could eat great food and make all my bookings, feeling assured that I'll be taken care of....
