Hưng Thịnh restaurant — Restaurant in Ninh Bình

I ordered 2 beef baguettes. 1 for take away for the bus. The one I ate at the restaurant was absolutely great! Bread was crunchy and filled with beef and onions. The tomatoes and cucumbers were on the plate. The one I got for take away had the tomatos and cucumbers inside. Tastet still really great after a few hours in a bag!!! After I finished my 1 baguette the owner gave me fresh herbal tee for free. Not just 1 small cup, after finishing it they instantly refilled it for 4-5 times. They don’t speak good English but you know in an instant that they are really lovely...

Disappointing. I had the "my nau voi thit bo" which looked great on the picture. The broth looked thick and the beef looked braised, which seemed okay for 100,000 dong. What I got was two minute noodles with tough thickly sliced beef and light broth. The fried vegetable noodles show green vegetables and mushrooms but it only came with shredded cabbage and carrot. I arrived in Ninh Binh by train with the intention of visiting Bai Dinh. The restaurant is right opposite the railway station. I had a good lunch there for a good price. They also offer coffees and smoothies. The owner, Hung, offered to take me to Bai Dinh by motorcycle and return me after 3 hours for 300K VND (150K per direction, and could choose to go only one way). He was very kind and showed me the other nearby attractions on the way....
