I am still food poisoned one week later from a burger I had here. I asked for it to be fully cooked but after eating most of it I noticed it wasn’t. That night I was so sick. The meat is obviously not in great condition if it gets you sick for a week after consuming. Did the staff not pass on the message to cook my burger fully or was the chef incompetent? Tourists clearly can’t handle the food as well as locals and it should be cooked fully if the food is not properly stored. *Edit - Owner here replied to my comment with the address saying it wasn’t their restaurant and yes this is your restaurant, the address is the place I went to and the food made me sick. I know your making it look like I made a mistake and it wasn’t here but it was, what potential customer is going to believe your being serious with that response, that you checked cameras and didn’t see me at restaurant and read a list and my name wasn’t there. What list? I walked into your restaurant and ordered food. And you checked cameras for what? You don’t know what I look like or when I came into your restaurant so what are you trying to find? It is sad to put a lower than 5*, considering the restaurant has good vibes and food. However the waiters do not speak any English and that’s really sad. My wife told the waiter (via google translate) the she does not drink coffee, so she ordered iced chocolate that he recommended. She got a chocolate and coffee mix. When she showed the disagreement, the waiter said that on the menu, that the chocolate is in the coffee section, so all the drinks come with coffee. Never saw this before… I ordered smoked chicken with papaya salad. The papaya salad was just a cabadge salad, and the smoked chicken was actually owen chicken. In the end they added 10% on our bill saying that it is VAT. Again useless to tell the waiter that’s not normal as it’s not written on the menu - he was simply replying to « vat tax ». Clearly the food is good, the vibe is nice, but definitely nok to continuously call the waiters who don’t care about what...

EDIT: In response to the owners comment. This is 100% the restaurant I ate in, and it was 100% this restaurant that made me very, very sick. I sat at the fire pit in the pictures above. Maybe investigate your food hygiene standards instead of trying to “investigate” what day and time I ate there. I did not state the date I was there, therefore is impossible to “check the CCTV”. Please try and do better in the future instead of trying to fool other potential future customers into believing that it was not your restaurant that made me sick. Take accountability and learn from your mistakes.
