My driver recommended this place so we went here for lunch today July 16,2024. As I walked in I was greeted by one of the waitresses and she took me straight to where they keep all their live seafoods. I was told to pick out what I wanted and they will cook them the way I want. I then asked the waitress if I can pay by Apple pay or Card (debit or credit). She said give her a minute so she can check with the owner. She came back after a few minutes and said “yes, we take card and apple pay”. I have some cash on me but didn’t want to use all of my cash so I wanted to pay with my card. The restaurant was full of bugs flying around. My partner had to turn on the fan to keep the bugs away, which was ok we understand. We ordered a lot of foods. When I pick out the grouper I told the waitress I don’t want too big, around 1kg is enough. When the bill came it stated the fish was 1.8kg. Which is way bigger than what I wanted. Again, I didn’t complain. I was ready to pay. When I asked for the bill, the waiter started to say “oh we don’t take card or apple pay, can you pay with cash” . Even though I have cash on me, I feel like I just got scammed. The waitress clearly said that they take card, maybe she said this just to be able to sit us. The owner came over and said “I will take you to the bank to withdraw cash” . I said “this is not even about that. I have cash on me and enough to pay for my meal, the problem is you shouldn’t tell your customers one things, and changing your words the next, very dishonest”. And why would I go to the bank with some stranger??? Owner and waitress were clearly not on the same page, and were arguing with each other in front of me. At this point I was too tired so I just pay with...
Read moreI went to eat here with my girlfriend. I am American and she is Vietnamese. She asked if they took credit cards and they responded with yes. So we went and ordered. The Restaurant was full of flies. I grabbed a fan and turned it on to get rid of them. Yes it’s a little understandable as it’s outdoors and has live and dead fish everywhere. But still there are ways to keep them away. When we received the check we noticed the fish they chose was almost twice the size as requested. However we did not say anything. When she tried to pay they said no, you can pay with cash. It turned into an argument with the owner wanting to take her to the bank. She is not going to go with a random stranger to a bank. It’s not safe and you don’t know who these people are. We went and got the individual that confirmed the credit card, and told the owner yes she said that. He then started to yell at the employee. They continued to argue. So I am a chef and work in hospitality, hotels , and restaurants. If an employee gives incorrect information. You still honor it. It’s super unprofessional to be standing there yelling back n forth in from of your staff and customers. Even more embarrassing when the customer is correct and you have to now put your tail between your legs. It seems the culture here is very stubborn and they do not like to admit when a mistake happens. Instead they continued to argue and get loud. There are a lot of scammy people in this area. Stay clear. Food was mediocre at best. The fish came out raw and I had to finish cooking it at the table. Luckily I know how to properly cook fish unlike this so called...
Read moreThe place can be reached by motorbike or car, it’s one of the rated restaurant within the area. Price wise I believe it’s quite transparent but feel like there might have been a bait and switch for the lobster, felt smaller. However the food that was serve tasted great still but why for a missing star was because one of our ordered dish “fried chicken” but was served wrongly to another family with a lot of kids and they served the family’s braised chicken to us which we reject immediately back to the blur male waiter. The waiter look from a far back at the table but wasn’t sure, ran back to the kitchen to check the order but that took several minutes and by the time he came back switch the dish out and told us the family didn’t touch the dish. While I was seated across looking at the young kids touching the food… The waiter blatantly inform us that they didn’t eat the food… Like really? Long story short I rejected the dish and in the end they did remove the dish from the receipt upon reminding them during billing. Overall it was still a great...
