You know, sometimes you are just blown away by a random restaurant that delivers really great western food in a place that you would not expect. In this case, not exactly western, but Middle Eastern food. Sindbad is a great restaurant - very clean and mordern looking, great style, and staff that are very friendly and accomodating.
Back home, I love Kebabs and Middle Eastern food, so I thought I'd give this place a shot to see what it's like.
The first thing you notice is the very wide array of food on offer. Entrees, salads, kebabls, yirros, shish, wraps and rolls. There is also a decent assortment of drinks from soft driinks all the way to vokda shots.
Totally awesome. So much in fact, it would take some many visits to try out everything. On my visit, i tried out the Hummus and Salad, along with the large Doner Kebab. I also order a shot of Vodka as well :) The hummus was delicious. A nice pang of garlic and hummus, just needed a bit of extra salt to make it perfect.
The beef Doner Kebab was huge. The dressings and sauces inside added to the flavour, and I got to say I was in heaven when eating this delight, all the way out in Vietnam.
In summary, I would say if you are in Mui Ne, and hankering for some Middle Eatern cuisine, definately try this place out. I tell you that you won't be disapointed. Looking forward to my next...
Read moreVery disappointed on how the place changed.
Use to be very kind and friendly staff.
Now is unfriendly,non-professional. Do not let us talk when encoutering small issue. Make it worst iso listening to what customer has to say.
Owner's wife and waitress are very rude and not customer service oriented!
Reconsider on how to settle issues.
Train your team.

Again your reply is reflecting you are not customer oriented.
We are guests, we are ordering food at the counter but your staff has to ask questions to make it smooth,(especially order spicy or not), right?
We asked you to have sauces not inside the kebab...check your camera!
And no, my wife is not scared of me nor did not send me to make a complain. I came into the counter because the way the waitress justify the spicy sauce was not into my expectation of a reply (it is new rules of the place).
Angry yes I can be! Saying directlty its the guest' fault, it is because we ordered wrong and we didnt request not spicy are not the way to settle issues.
Small issue (because this is a small one) can be fix very easily, especially if you are the owner (only change the bread with no sauce would have been done into 2 min).
Learn to apologize and accept that it can have issue!!! You are not top...
Read moreSindbad was the only restaurant that we decided to dine at twice during our short stay in Mui Ne. The first afternoon was fine and the second time the following night we had a bit of an issue... After receiving our food, I was handed my kebab and it immediately (less than 5 seconds after receiving it) fell on the ground. After it fell on the ground, my (Viet) GF and I looked at the staff and they just stared at us until we asked them to clean it up. After, we asked for another kebab.
Upon receiving the bill, we saw that we had been charged for the one that was consumed and the one that had fallen on the ground. When we (my Viet GF) asked about this, we were told that it didn't matter that it had not been consumed, that we still must pay for it.
Now while I fully understand the "gray-areaness" of this situation, we both felt like this was not handled by the staff in a knowledgeable/professional manner. We tried to explain to them how business works in other places, but they clearly did...
