FoodBee Indian Restaurant And Bar — Restaurant in Lusaka Province

Had high hopes for this restaurant from the other reviews and understandably there is good reason for some good reviews as the food is very enjoyable. A few things unfortunately spoiled our experience and left us somewhat frustrated.

Firstly, we had checked reviews and the menu online before deciding to try the place but when sitting down to order we found prices were hugely different to what we'd seen online. An average curry main course was advertised as K80-K85 online but was K130 in the restaurant. The waiter mentioned that the online prices needed updating, which is acceptable, but it made a massive difference, with sides etc. to the final bill of a family of five. This is a simple thing to rectify but it's been like this for sometime apparently.

Secondly, they need to sort out their table menus as the ones we were handed were all different to each other with missing pages and different page orders. Very difficult to order when you don't have consistency between menus! For example, our son was keen to order a pizza as this was on one menu but they were no longer available and not in some menus.

To conclude, the food was lovely but attention to customer care, marketing administration needs...

We at Balloon Deco, went to set up an event for a Frozen birthday party on Saturday night. We advised one of the managers/bosses, that we would only be able to collect the things on Tuesday as we were closed on Monday, and asked them to keep all our things safe. All our decor was left in the rain, wet, damaged and broken. All our pictures were wet, all our frames were broken, and our decor was damaged. When we went to collect our things, we were told it’s not their responsibility and we should have come sooner to collect our things despite having told them we could only come on Tuesday and they agreed. The restaurant is a great place to experience authentic Indian cuisine. There a many tables available and it does get quite busy during lunch hour. There is parking available inside the property and outside. They have a great menu which caters for meat lovers and vegetarians alike. It has a good atmosphere and is ideal for business lunches.
