Musubi Japanese Restaurant Long Acres Tucked away in a little yard is Lusaka’s top hidden restaurant. There is no sign board to tell you where you are. No sign posts anywhere. But enter the building and you are transported to a recreated Japanese restaurant. The staff are welcoming, attentive and helpful. True Japanese etiquette. The chef is Japanese and the food is delicious. All the sea food is imported from Japan, we were told. We. Enjoyed the crispy pork. Others had the teriyaki chicken....

Had a wonderful time at Musubi - the food was delicious, and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and decor. And, the service was fantastic!!! The servers were warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and very efficient. We felt so welcomed there, and would absolutely recommend it :)

PS. Edit: I just realised that the takeaway box they gave me is biodegradable, which is another huge plus for this business and quite unusual for restaurants here - I hope others will take inspiration and...

We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary there with friends. We could not have been more thankful for what the owner and staff did for us. On very short notice they offered us their special, Japanese dining room at no extra charge and presented us with an amazing bouquet of flowers to take home with us, along with a special note congratulating us. An amazing evening of Japanese cuisine and kindness. Special...

Authentic Japanese food. Here food are served in a form of “Teishoku“, set meals. It’s a combination of a rice bowl, a main dish, a couple of side dishes or soup. “Teishoku” is a standard Japanese diet that balances the three major nutrients, protein, fat, and carbohydrates. Musubi provides not only Japanese taste but also Japanese food culture. Enjoy Japanese food!
