Nando's Manda Hill is a must-visit spot for locals and tourists seeking a memorable dining experience, and my sit-down lunch there was indeed memorable. Conveniently located, this restaurant is a bustling hub that offers a blend of inviting ambience and tasty cuisine.
Upon entering, I was greeted with warm smiles from the staff, setting a positive tone for my visit. Despite the lunch rush, their service was effective and courteous. There was, however, a minor delay in receiving our meals, but the staff's prompt apology fixed the situation considerably.
I was greatly impressed by the great cleanliness maintained throughout the establishment. Both the dining area and washrooms were spotless, reflecting the high hygiene standards upheld by Nando's. The presence of multiple hand sanitizing stations was a welcome sight, underscoring their commitment to health and safety.
The restaurant's cleanliness stood out prominently, from the well-maintained dining area to the spotless washrooms. The provision of numerous hand sanitizing stations further reinforced their commitment to health and safety – an essential consideration in these pandemic-affected times.
The centerpiece of my lunch, the Half Chicken with Lemon & Herb, was a delight. Skillfully grilled, the chicken was beautifully marinated with a light and zesty Lemon & Herb sauce, a pleasant diversion from their traditional Peri-Peri offering. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, providing a culinary experience to remember.
The Festa fries, generously topped with cheese, were a standout. They were crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and had an enjoyable, distinctive flavor profile. The cheese added a layer of indulgence and richness that complemented the fries perfectly. The slightly uneven cooking of a few fries was a minor discrepancy in an otherwise delicious side dish.
Nando's Manda Hill's convenience is not to be overlooked. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating options, with a comfortable spacing between tables to balance a sense of community and privacy. The fusion of modern elements and traditional South African motifs in their décor added to the charm of the place. The ample parking and the restaurant's proximity to the Manda Hill shopping complex offer a touch of convenience for those with a day of shopping planned.
Despite a minor delay in service, my lunch experience at Nando's Manda Hill was decidedly enjoyable. The high standards of hygiene, efficient service, delightful Lemon & Herb-infused dishes, and practical amenities made my visit worthwhile. If you are looking for a relaxed, sit-down lunch amidst a day of shopping, I would highly recommend this...
Read moreVisited Nando’s on a quiet Wednesday afternoon. It wasn’t busy—just a couple of occupied tables—and the food came out in under 10 minutes.
You order at the counter, but food is delivered to your table. The menu is detailed and easy to navigate. I ordered the Boujee Bowl (K99) and the 1/4 chicken with chips (K107). The Boujee Bowl was flavorful, savory, and had a nice spicy kick, with tender, well-seasoned chicken. The 1/4 chicken was generously sized, spicy, and delicious. A bottle of herb sauce on the table added even more flavor.
The atmosphere is clean and relaxed, with outdoor seating at the front of the mall. Service was efficient, prices are fair, and the overall experience was great....
Read moreThey told us it will take 10-12 minutes for our food to be ready, we ended up waiting for 25 minutes. Our food order was take away (peri peri wedges, 5 lemon n herb wings, a Portuguese salad with extra pineaple, a quater chicken (leg) and tropical drink. Now in the car, the peri peri wedges was only wedges without the peri peri spice, they put only dressing for the salad, no salt or tomato sauce was given. They put 2 plastic knives and no fork....we was late to get back to work for us to go back and collect missing items. One would think an order will be made as requested. Might not be a good place to go when you have limited lunch time or...
